Uniqlo x Jil Sander Collection // Partnership Ends

German minimalism + Japanese aesthetics = Fantastic fashion.

Jil Sander and Uniqlo, having parted ways earlier in the summer, have released the pictures of the last collaboration effort between the minimalist German designer and the Japanese casual fashion retailer.

Sander is famous for her attention to detail and tailoring, especially in the realm of raw materials. Her collaboration with Uniqlo has brought her love and attention of clothes to Japan, who harbors a love for all things made well.

Although this will be the last collection the two design houses do together, it seems it is the one that will have the most impact.

Watch The Throne // The Artwork

The boys are in control.

Watch The Throne is hailed as one of the best albums to drop this year. While there is debate and criticism, there is one thing you cannot fault Jay Z and Kanye West for:

Artistic control.

So what do the two biggest names in rap right now do? They call up Givenchy and ask for some artwork.  Designed by Ricardo Tisci, designer for the Givenchy house, the art work incorporates a gold foil floral motif for the iconic cover.
