I’m one for quality blended with style and ethics.
So it’s not a surprise that I’m a fan of Visvim, the Japanese footwear (and more recently, streetwear) line that originates from Tokyo.
Founded by Hiroki Nakamura, a former employee of Burton Snowboards, this company has some of the strictest standards for comfort and durability in fashion today. And while they are primarily a footwear company, Nakamura recognizes the possibilities of expanding into streetwear.
And to prove it, Nakamura showed the 2009 Fall/Winter collection this past Saturday at a warehouse space in Belleville, not far from the City of Lights.
While the collection won’t be released for a little while longer, be on the lookout for the Summer/Spring collection to drop soon.
