Yeojin Bae Brings The 40’s Back

Yeojin Bae, the 30-something Australian fashion designer known for her tailored separate and beautifully detailed vintage dresses, has done it again.

This season, with Alfred Hitchcock and the 1940’s as her inspiration, Bae has brought in asymmetrical style to seductive tailoring. With the smart use of color and impeccable attention to detail, every piece from this new collection is a must have.

Yeojin Bae graduated in 1992 from the Whitehouse School of Fashion, and has since interned for Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui, as well as having worked for some of Australia’s top designers, including Charlie Brown and Saba.

In 2007, Bae won the coveted Tiffany and Company Designer of the Year Award in Australia. She has been covered in every major fashion magazine, including ELLE, Vogue, and Marie Claire.

In March of 2008, Bae opened a lofty salon shop in Prahran, Melbourne.
